• Resistant to penetration and impact even after autoclave treatment

  • Secure design to prevent accidental spillage

  • Low height with large aperture to provide easy and comfortable access

In laboratories experimenting with highly hazardous substances, our Protected Access range of containers are specifically designed to reduce the risk of needlestick injuries. Secondary and final closures prevent accidental spillage, providing extra security that so research can be conducted with peace of mind. In order to maintain the standards of puncture resistance, only virgin polypropylene is used in the manufacture of Sharpsafe containers. The melting point of polypropylene is between 160-170°c thus will resist penetration of sharps even after sterilisation cycles.
